High CBD Medical Cannabis Strain

Charlotte’s Web is a High CBD Hemp cultivar used to manufacture CBD hemp oil. It is a proprietary strain produced by the Stanley Brothers in Colorado.

Being low in THC Charlotte’s web is non-intoxicating and has been widely used to treat epilepsy including treatment resistant paediatric epilepsy. Charlotte’s Web CBD oil products attracted national attention after Charlotte Figi’s epileptic seizures were successfully treated using oil from the strain.

Charlotte’s Web’s breeding is not publicly known for certain but it is believed to be a cross between AC/DC and an industrial hemp variety.
